Tutoring, coaching, explanations, and draft feedback are designed to support learning. Students remain the authors of assessed work.
Share only the information needed for support. Briefs and account information should stay within the platform workflow.
Profiles show whether a verification review has been completed, so students can distinguish verified and unverified tutors.
Report misleading profiles, inappropriate requests, privacy concerns, or conduct that conflicts with these standards.
Understanding profile status
Always consider subject fit, qualification level, availability, and your own learning goals alongside the badge shown.
The badge means the platform has completed its applicable review of the information or evidence submitted for that profile. It does not guarantee a grade, outcome, availability, or suitability for every subject.
An unverified profile has not completed the platform review represented by the badge. It should not be presented as verified, and students should take that status into account when deciding whom to contact.
Tutors may explain, demonstrate, coach, review, and help students practise. They should not impersonate a student, take a live or proctored assessment, or present tutor-authored work as the student’s own assessed submission.
Do not share passwords, assessment logins, or unnecessary personal records. Use the platform’s account, message, file, and payment workflows where available, and report requests to move sensitive activity elsewhere.
