FIRST TERM PAPER: due at class Mid-Point (10/17/17): consisting of a minimum of 7 to 10 pages in length on a relevant topic, with a minimum of 4 — 6 references, using either MLA or APA style. Students are to submit their topics to me via e-mail BEFORE beginning to write the paper for review and approval of the topic. In the event a topic is rejected, students will have the opportunity to re-submit another topic for consideration. • SECOND TERM PAPER: due at class End-Point (12/5/17): consisting of a minimum of 12 to 14 pages in length on a relevant topic, with a minimum of 8 to 10 references, using either MLA or APA style. Students are to submit their topics to me via e-mail BEFORE beginning to write the paper for review and approval of the topic. In the event a topic is rejected, students will have the opportunity to re-submit another topic for consideration. • In each case, all Term Papers will be graded on clarity, focus, relevancy of topic, detail and level of sophistication as to how the topic is researched, addressed and explained, in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria which appear below.
